Post Production

 

Finally after all that hard work it came to materialize my work by editing, the soft ware used in this were Filmora, Davinchi reolve and for open source sound Pixaby.

My very own productionhouse I started by creating its intro, it was RAY PRODUCTION if you cant tell already, Ray is my nick name and in some cases, my alias, I was inspired by dream works moon theme and angel choirs so, i decided to make my production house appear under descending light with angelic choirs, this represent the view or image of something heavenly in your mind, and every thing good is associated with heaven so that's why people tend to look positively to the product because the positive image is already made.

In the next scene, several fade in and and fade out and straight cuts are added to enable smooth transition, these scenes are tend to be quite as the most horror of sound is defiantly the deafening silence, other than that some sound effects were added like throwing the valet, picking the book and etc.

From this morph on wards sounds effect start to come, like in this you can clearly hear the writing of sound as the boy does his diary writing, this helps emphasize the focus on the context rather than the visual appeal, this is latter followed by a sub title to tell the audience what is being written this reveals a lot of crucial info, like the boy being bullied and who is the bully.

my most favorite "DIE" scene, narratively and figuratively it holds great significance as it reveals the genre to be phycological horror and the intention of the boy, also it should be kept in mind this scene is really important for the audience to understand all the upcoming scenes, I wrote DIE in an impactful font, add glitch animation and sound to give it more polished creepy feeling.

The one month latter scene, I made it by using and impactful font and syncing type writer effect with type writer sound with the visual to produce the result, this scene acts as a transition and a time skip. This scene was added to answer the upcoming question.

This scene was added with slow pace editing to help the audience adjust their perspective by a small pause before the climax, this also introduces the whole set which at the moment was a messy room, highlighting the emotional instability of the mc. After this followed series of straight cut with an un audible tv voice with subtitles to convey the context of the current report being broadcasted which just happens to be off the murder of that bully, you can almost see where this is going.

One of my most favorite scene, the ghastly smile which reveals that he is the killer, the haunting revelation which acts as a climax, now remember the question I mentioned, here it comes "how?" that's why I put 1 month time skip so the audience themselves can answer it by thier own imagination and by thier own satisfaction. 

  Finally the scene which officially closes this project, the end title.... honestly I cant go on and on about how the knock sound from silence created a sudden thump of surprise and anxiety and all but the most I want to tell right now is the feeling of fulfillment, they watched it, they completed it they are at ease like how i am at ease because this marks the end of this project.
