Post Production

Finally after all that hard work it came to materialize my work by editing, the soft ware used in this were Filmora, Davinchi reolve and for open source sound Pixaby. My very own productionhouse I started by creating its intro, it was RAY  PRODUCTION  if you cant tell already, Ray is my nick name and in some cases, my alias, I was inspired by dream works moon theme and angel choirs so, i decided to make my production house appear under descending light with angelic choirs, this represent the view or image of something heavenly in your mind, and every thing good is associated with heaven so that's why people tend to look positively to the product because the positive image is already made. In the next scene, several fade in and and fade out and straight cuts are added to enable smooth transition, these scenes are tend to be quite as the most horror of sound is defiantly the deafening silence, other than that some sound effects were added like throwing the valet, pic...

PRE PRODUCTION

Pre production , the planning before it all begin, if I was a famer than this would a seed from which the fruit grows if I was a builder than this would be the blue print of my work and if I was a plant than these would be my roots from which support the rest of my growing work. Pre production is a plan without a good plan there is nothing, you need something to make something that is preproduction.
Pre-production is the crucial phase of planning before anything truly begins. If I were a farmer, pre-production would be the seed from which the fruit grows. If I were a builder, it would be the blueprint guiding every brick and beam. If I were a plant, these moments of planning would be my roots, anchoring and supporting all the growth that follows. As Benjamin Franklin wisely said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” Pre-production is the foundation — without a solid plan, nothing can take shape. You need a clear vision and careful preparation to create anything meaningful, and that’s exactly what pre-production provides. In the words of Dwight D. Eisenhower, “Plans are nothing; planning is everything.” It’s the process of preparation itself that builds the path to success.

Script

this is a revised version of the script , the previous script was too simple and jumbled to be the main part thus it was revised.

Screen Play

Story Boarding

Budget Sheet

I already knew what i would need and how to utalize each of it so drawing the budget sheet was not so hard but it was not easy as well , I had to consider many factors like how much travel do we need to do for example the shooting could not be completed in a singel day so we needed to go to the site a couple of time and each time we visit the sit for shooting we also needed to have lunch thus another additional expense. What you see above is an estimate not the actual cost.

LOCATION HUNTING

I know location is a rely important part of video making and seeing as my opening brief was based upon what bullying did to a student than what better place to shoot it on rather than a school so I decided to use my school as my location for opening brief and I was unable to upload a lot of pictures as there would be different locations in the video but on of the location is provided bellow of the school hall

Risk Assessment

Casting

There were up to 4 characters in the opening brief
  1. Main Character (the Psycho)
  2. Student 1
  3. Student 2
  4. Student 3
the side characters had a similar personality or were suppose to be similar in terms of purpose and behavior while the main focus is suppose to be the MC

THESE ARE ME AND MY FORMER CASTING CREW

It was hard to find actors as I was already low on pesonals so I improvised using the help of my friends. (saly some emergencies and change of plan made it so we had to disolove this cast)

PHYSCO

The main character, the Psycho will be played by Huzaifa, he is my cousin also one of the few people available at the time I was in need of someone to shoot it

PSYCHO

A student isolated at school, confronted by verbal bullying and two-faced “friends.” He struggles with mentally challenged that blur his understanding of humane versus inhumane behavior. He tends to hide and ignore problems until they become too overwhelming to ignore. When pushed to his limits, he transforms into someone completely different. His way of coping is far from conventional or practical. Haunted by the labels others place on him, his fractured consciousness ultimately forces him to embrace those labels — but in a deeply twisted, disturbing way.

MOODBOARD OF PYSCHO

Daniel

Daniel was a student who never was seen in the opening sequence yet had a major role in the context, he was the presumed bully who led the mc into insanity by constant bullying , so much so that the mc later killed Josh.

COLOR MOODBOARD

COLOR PALETTE

As the color palette suggest the opening brief would have slight warmer and dusty tone, not because warm is horror but to represent some degree or realness, the left most color, Camel highlights the feeling of normalcy like every thing seems to be normal while the centered color Taupe represent the dullness or eeriness of the coming story, it is a lighter color prefect foe a horror environment, than last but not least the right most color, Peach represents youth , on which the story is based upon.
